Chaguaramo

Chaguaramo is a Barcelona-based artist with a background in visual communication and graphic arts, who often returns to the raw, unpredictable nature of street photography. He likens it to jazz: technical, spontaneous, and full of risk, yet delightful when the miracle happens. His work captures fleeting compositions of contrast, tension, movement, and ambiguity, embracing the photographic accidents that add mystery and irreplaceable value to film. Moments so rare they often don't come at all. Like fishing, many days end empty-handed, carried forward by the search itself and what the next frame might hold.

Using short lenses, Chaguaramo places himself within the action, just steps from his subjects, where presence and instinct matter most. He draws deep inspiration from photographers like Cartier-Bresson, Paolo Gasparini, or Vivian Maier, as well as the emotional depth of expressionist painters such as Kirchner and Munch.
